He’s smart. He’s lovable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them.. During season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. replaces his father in some shots, as the two look uncannily alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later, in season 2, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.. Dexter Morgan: I lived in darkness for a long time. Over the years, my eyes adjusted, until the darkness became my world and I couldn’t see.. Presented at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007). This will be my first review on IMDb, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t visit IMDb to check reviews on movies or TV shows that I watch, I watch a lot of movies and TV shows. For the first time in my life, I couldn’t sleep after watching a series. I saw Prison Break, Heroes and a lot of other things. Prison Break and the first season of Heroes were great. They inspired me so much that I got some tattoos on my body. However, both of these series stopped as soon as they went into the next season. Heroes was a huge disappointment, but DEXTER.. OMG series after series is starting to make me so curious about the next episode.. damn season 4. I just couldn’t sleep the whole night after watching it. I spent my weekend watching episodes one after the other. To start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) his darkness was beyond the pale, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he’s the same in his real life, but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real wife who plays his sister in this series. Damn Debra is one character who is so confused and mostly controlled by the people around her, she always ends up doing something bad, but always gets credit for the good things too. I love the part when you find out what’s going on in Dexters it bothers her when she thinks about something or when someone talks to her, also the part when she talks to her dead father Harry. (just think what his dad would say in that situation). All the episodes/characters and all the seasons are written and acted so well that you can hardly find any fault with them. My favorite characters are Dexter (Quite obviously), Rita and Vince Masuka. Damn Vince is so funny, he only said one word in his entire episode and he comes off as hilarious. I can’t wait for season 5 and I’m sure anyone who watched Dexter feels the same way I do. (I apologize if my first review has any mistakes and hurts anyone’s feelings)
