Narrative
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes a living by carrying out high-profile murders. He soon meets a tough British intelligence officer who pursues him in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe.
The Jackal is seen driving a white Alfa Romeo Spider
In The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an older model. In Graham Norton, I liked: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024).
It’s an updated version of a classic story
Day of the Jackal is as good as it was advertised. The series is about a sniper assassin (Eddie Redmayne) who goes by the nickname The Jackal.
He’s a highly trained assassin who’s also a master of disguise
He’s offered a job that’s so valuable he can retire, but it’s a risky one, especially with a ruthless British intelligence officer named Bianca (Lashana Lynch) on his trail. She pursues him across Europe as he tries to complete his mission.
When the two meet, there are many casualties along the way
Their personal lives begin to collide with their work as they begin to discover that other forces are pulling the strings. While some parts are stretched to fit into 10 episodes, there’s plenty of action and drama to keep you entertained throughout the series.
