Narrative
Charles, a retiree, finds a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a retirement home. Based on the Chilean documentary “El Agente Topo”.
These actors only get better with age and are wonderfully cast in this sweet comedy series!
I am 67 years old and it was so wonderful to see so many actors from our generation and their great comedic styles. The storyline gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and deepens with the characters’ intrigues.
It’s actually not a mystery
It doesn’t matter because you have a pretty good idea who the culprit is halfway through. You don’t mind that it’s not really a mystery because you’re just having fun watching these old-timers work and show off their talent.

Just a tribute to the courage it takes to be an older, still-active citizen and feel seen in our youth-oriented society. What a beautiful tribute to those who support us and help us navigate the minefields of aging with this series.
