Narrative
CIA operative Jo tries to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped make the squad more authentic in terms of gun handling, house clearance, positioning, ground operations, etc…
Great acting from everyone
Best New Show, After Jack Ryan’s disappointing 4th season and poor performances all around, this feels better in every way. Really well done and the action/fight scenes are awesome.
Also I haven’t seen any red flags so far that every man seems incompetent or anything like that
A lot of the criticism of this show in the comments section is that it’s so unrealistic because of the all-female operator thing, which I feel is an original IP that doesn’t make a male lead a female lead. And at first I thought it was going to be more of an action-first, wacky show, but then they dove into the family a little bit and I’m usually afraid of that, but I don’t dislike what they did there.
Zaldana without another A-ListerTLDR Overall cautiously optimistic but I like what I see so far, everything is incredibly polished and well done
My only criticism is that the plot of what this particular team of operators is doing is very story-limiting, and it could kill it by just going past a plot/villain of a season. They could do a new more action-packed Homeland, otherwise it risks becoming an episode like BlacklistPS: So far Nicole Kidman’s part is incredibly small and unremarkable and anyone else could have done it…we’ll see what the excellent Morgan Freeman brings to the show…but from what I’ve seen so far the show can stand on its own.
Even without the History Channel its entertainment seems to be liked by some critics
