Adaptation of James Patterson’s series of novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross
The sequel to the 2001 film Along Came a Spider; and the 2012 film Alex Cross, starring Tyler Perry as the titular character, bombed at the box office and prompted Lionsgate to scrap its previously planned sequel, Double Cross. Show.
So I’ve written it off
However, I think it’s Luther, a poor cousin from the UK, with Idris Elba. Both he and Cross are considered to have extraordinary psychological analysis skills.
With Cross you don’t
With Luther you get that. In 8 episodes he works the whole "Spideysense" and provides analysis that others don’t.
And last but not least is Iasiah Mustafa
Then there’s the underwhelming performances of some of the main actors. Their scenes don’t do justice to the great acting of the main characters.
Good show, but I think Luther does it better
In this show he is the spitting image of Andy Farrell, the coach of the Irish rugby team. One is black, the other is white, but the resemblance of the boy is uncanny!
