James Gunn picked up the “CREATURE COMMANDOS” before taking over at DC
It follows a group of military superhumans, consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, a Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios.
He appeared in AniMat Crazy Cartoon Characters: The Return of the King (2023)

It was the best start to a new franchise ever, with an unknown team full of misfits, you have no doubt that this is going to be bad, it was an adventure you want to see again and again. James Gunn has clearly established himself as the king of comic book adaptations, even for a team that was supposed to be set in World War II, but this time I am forever indebted to his amazing work and mind in a heartbeat, I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us, without a doubt giving us the true truth of DC, I will be sitting in the front row and in my chair at home for the movies, James Gunn, if you see this, you are 100% #DCUFOREVER.
