Enjoy happily ever after with this annual lineup of romantic holiday-themed movies to watch from the comfort of your own home
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year contest, in a process judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick.. The movie was shot on location at historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like this all year round. The locations that served as the Higman family store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ restaurant are family-owned businesses in real life as well.
But I’m sorry, that was stupid
The Square also does Christmas lights like the one in the movie.. Well… I’m a Chiefs fan; I’m a Hunter King fan and I’m a Tyler Hines fan.
They really laid it out
I wish I could stop there, but alas, I have to clarify. If you’re not a Chiefs fan, I don’t know how you get to the end of a movie like this. I didn’t find the chemistry between Hines and King to be very strong at all.
I liked the supporting cast and Ed Begley, Jr
The writing was so-so and the overall plot was a bit odd. He was pretty good as the gruff old man. I thought it was interesting that there was a scene where the whole family gets high on eggnog in a Hallmark movie.
