Narrative
In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, is thrust into a high-profile job she is ill-suited for, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future. The British government allows them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the still-new American embassy (at Nine Elms), which opened in 2018. Britain allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary’s office, a rare honor for any film or film production, especially an American one.

Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential plot (11 acres) in London outside of Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes. I binge-watched The Night Agent, thinking it couldn’t get any better, I was wrong. I loved every second of this series.
So cerebral and fascinating
Everything you could want in a series. The characters and acting were top notch. It was great to see the delicious Rufus Sewell again and what a role he played, you never knew what he was going to come up with next.
He played it to perfection
Keri Russell was amazing as the ambassador. I also loved David Gyasi. All in all, a great series, maybe a little short, but worth watching.
The best political show since The West Wing
